WHAT: Trustees meeting Tuesday.
PRESENT: Ed Anthony and Ryan Yoho.
ABSENT: Kay Anderson.
Trustees:
• Approved participating in the Ohio Public Works Commission state capital improvement program to seek financial assistance for the 2025 road resurfacing program that includes Miller, Bane and Dover streets.
• Announced a Christmas party with Santa Claus will be 6 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Johnson Community Center sponsored by the township.
• Hired Kira Mawhinney as a part-time basic emergency medical technician at $15 per hour not to exceed 19.75 hours per week.
• Appointed John Jaros and Heidi Nagle Kozak to the fire dependency board for 2025.
• Accepted the resignation of Anthony Moore from the EMS department as a part-time basic EMT.
• Approved a two-year agreement with the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District for drop-off recycling containers.
• Reported Pine Knoll Cemetery has been expanded.
• Paid annual dues of $1,423 to the Trumbull County Emergency Management Agency.
• Canceled the December meeting.
