WHAT: Village council meeting Thursday

PRESENT: Robert Bond, Terry Campbell, Lamar Liming, Jamie Moseley, Jessica Blank, Howard Sheely and Mayor Jackie Woodward

Council:

• Approved Rose Saborse to serve a term from January to Aug. 13, 2025, on the planning commission. Saborse resigned from the board of zoning appeals to serve on the planning commission.

• Accepted the resignation of Tim Rech from the planning commission on Dec. 31. His term ends Aug. 13, 2025. Rech served for more than 30 years on the commission.

• Heard from Planning / Zoning Director Kellie Bordner that she was contacted by TJX HomeGoods, which is withdrawing a request for a zone change from industrial to residential for property on Ellsworth Bailey Road. A public hearing on Nov. 18 will not take place.

• Approved advertising for an air-release adapter valve for the 24-inch waterline project with bids to be opened in mid-December.
