WHAT: City council meeting Monday.

PRESENT: Reynald Paolone, Jeff Kay, Mark Standohar, Lily Martuccio, John Moliterno, Sam Zirafi and Mayor Mark Zuppo.

ABSENT: Tom Grumley and Keith Schubert.

Council:

• Heard from Law Director Brian Kren the city follows the state’s guidelines and regulations on what holidays and dates fireworks are permitted to be set off in the city. He said the state laws supersede the city’s previous guidelines.

• Heard from Safety / Service Director Sal Ponzio the plans for the Churchill Road pump station have been finalized and submitted for funding. The city is working with Burgess & Niple, an engineering and architecture firm headquartered in Columbus with offices in Akron and Mentor, on the project.

• Announced Christmas in the Park will be 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 21 at Tod Park.

• Will have security cameras installed by the boat launch and other areas due to vandalism and four wheelers on park properties.

• Canceled the Dec. 23 meeting due to the holidays.
