WHAT: Township trustees meeting Nov. 4.

PRESENT: Daniel Suttles, Mark Ferrara and Shannon Devitz.

Trustees:

• Approved fire Chief David Masirovits’ request to purchase battery-operated extrication tools including cutters, spreaders, 55-inch rescue ram and a combi-tool from Genesis Rescue Systems for $64,995.

• Approved Masirovits’s request to purchase two 18-inch battery operated ventilation fans and three Milwaukee rocket lights totaling $11,927.

• Approved hiring Jared Bradley as a full-time firefighter and paramedic barring a successful physical, background check and one-year probationary period. He will be hired at 85% of his total salary and all other benefits as provided as per the current collective bargaining agreement.
