WHAT: Trumbull County MetroParks board meeting Thursday.

PRESENT: Randy Fabrizio, John Brown, Steve Maas, Nicolette Darkangelo and Kurt Sauer.

The board:

• Approved participating in the Ohio Department of Transportation cooperative purchasing program for a small bridge for the bike trail and other items as needed.

• Requested the Trumbull County Probate Court reappoint Brown to another three-year term on the board effective Jan. 1.

• Discussed funding the park board receives from Trumbull County commissioners. The board receives $136,000 annually, an increase from the previous $125,000.

• Rescheduled the next meeting to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 21 at the park office.
