WHAT: Board of Education meeting Monday

PRESENT: Mark Harper, Jennifer Nicholas and Taylor Pease

ABSENT: Angela Campana and Danielle Scherer

The board:

• Accepted retirement resignation for teacher Belinda Kindle effective June 1, 2025.

• Hired Jennifer Somerville as print shop operator.

• Announced a Veterans Day community ceremony and celebration will be held 9:30 a.m Nov. 6 in the high school auditorium.

• Entered into a cooperative athletic trainer agreement with Peak Performance Physical Therapy for home athletic events.

• Rescheduled the next meeting to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and also set an Ohio School Boards Association and board workshop Nov. 18.

• Approved transfer of Laura DePizzo from assistant to the treasurer to food service supervisor and Joy Anstrom from superintendent’s secretary to assistant to the treasurer.

• Approved fifth-grade students from the middle school to Camp Fitch in North Springfield, Pa. Nov. 20-22.
