Niles running waterline survey

NILES — The Niles Water Department has partnered with 120 Water and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the “Get the Lead Out” initiative.

City officials said Niles water customers will receive a door hanger with information pertaining to the program and a brief survey to be completed to aid in compliance efforts. Residents can scan the QR code on the door hanger to be directed to the survey.

Officials said it is a requirement that every residential and commercial property’s service line is identified on the private side. Niles has since submitted its initial inventory, which will be revised on a weekly basis until full compliance is reached. For questions, contact Kevin Robertson, water superintendent / public infrastructure coordinator / project manager at 330-544-9000 ext. 1171.

Starting at $3.23/week.
