Friday raid finds drugs, cash, guns at city home
WARREN — Agents from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office TAG Drug Task Force seized drugs, cash and guns in a raid Friday in the 1900 block of South Feederle Drive SE, according to a news release from the task force.
The search warrant was obtained after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation. As a result, agents seized 71.5 grams of methamphetamine, 21.4 grams of crack cocaine, 14.9 grams of fentanyl, approximately $1,200 in cash, and two handguns. One of the handguns, which had a loaded high-capacity drum magazine, had a full-automatic conversion kit, which turns a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic handgun.
This case will be turned over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office. Drug-related charges are expected to be filed against two individuals and weapons charges are also expected to be filed in this case.
The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Brookfield and Howland police.
