WHAT: Township trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Ryan Yoho, Kay Anderson and Ed Anthony


• Hired Robert Meeker and Raven Yeany as part-time basic emergency medical technicians, not to exceed 1,500 hours per year at $12 per hour, effective July 1. A probationary period of one year is in effect;

• Accepted the resignations of Brian Schotsch as a part-time paramedic from the emergency medical service department and Gregory Wrightsman as monthly part-time media technician;

• Heard from Ryan Nash that Clubhouse Brewing Co. will be moving from North River Road to Hewitt Gifford Road with operations up and running by fall. A conditional use permit was approved by the zoning department;

• Informed residents that fire Assistant Chief Erich Luketic will handle duties while Chief Joseph Natali is on medical leave;

• No longer will have rentals of the Brookside Fire Department building. Officials said the Johnson Community Center is available for rentals;

• Approved having the fire chief and county zoning inspector check properties at 629 Potic Drive and 375 Flora Road to determine if they are unsafe and unfit for human habitation.
