Masury man sentenced for sex offense
WARREN — A Masury man was given a 30-month prison sentence on felony charges connected to sexual offenses against a 15-year-old girl.
Isiah Krzyston, 22, of Brookfield Avenue, pleaded guilty April 21 to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
When Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice asked Krzyston why he would seduce a 15-year-old girl, the defendant gave no answer.
Krzyston’s public defender Eugene Fehr said his client had developed a relationship with the girl, but that made Rice counter, “This is why we have laws that deal with sexual offenses against teenagers, because they don’t have the ability to make adult decisions.”
Krzyston was given consecutive sentences and labeled a Tier 2 sexual offender, which means he will have to register his address twice per year for 25 years.
Prosecutors said the case involved a female with whom Krzyston had sexual relations on three occasions, beginning in November 2021. The case was investigated by Brookfield police.
Krzyston’s personal bond was revoked in January, records show, and he has remained in the Trumbull County jail since then.
