Frenchko hits panic alarm button

WARREN — Trumbull County Commissioner Niki Frenchko pressed a panic alarm button at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, while in the commissioners’ fifth floor hearing room, stating that a resident was filming her while she was alone after the commissioners’ weekly meeting.

Frenchko told a sheriff’s deputy that she told the man the meeting was over and she did not feel comfortable with him being there, according to a police report.

The man responded by saying he did not feel comfortable with her presence, and then walked out of the hearing room, according to the report. He left before the deputy had a chance to speak with him.

Frenchko noted she has had numerous encounters with the man and does not feel comfortable when she is alone with him
