WARREN — Trumbull County sheriff detectives are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred Tuesday night on Phelps Road in Bristolville.

According to a report, a deputy interviewed a 20-year-old Warren woman about 12:24 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Warren Hospital while she was being treated. Medical staff at the hospital turned over evidence to the deputy, the report states.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
