Crews battle Warren Township fire

WARREN TOWNSHIP — Fire crews are investigating a Sunday morning fire that destroyed a garage in the 3100 block of Howard Street.

A 911 report states crews were called at 10 a.m. where a garage was engulfed in flames and a pickup truck outside the garage also was on fire. The garage was destroyed and there was some heat damage to the back porch area of the house.

Assisting the Warren Township Fire Department at the scene were Champion, Lordstown and Newton Falls.

There were no reported injuries. No one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
