Niles man charged with rape of girl
NILES — A man has been arrested on three counts of rape of a 15-year-old girl.
Xavier Baynes, 26, was charged with rape Nov. 22 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is at the Trumbull County jail facing charges of rape, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and gross sexual imposition.
The alleged assault happened Nov. 19 while the victim was intoxicated after being given alcohol, according to a police report. Police said Baynes knew the victim.
