Bazetta FD offers safe drop-off spot
BAZETTA — The Bazetta Fire Department again is offering a safe holiday package drop off to prevent thefts.
Packages can be delivered to the Bazetta Fire Department, 3000 Warren-Meadville Road, Cortland, Ohio 44410, through Dec. 23. Residents must call 330-637 4136, Ext. 3, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to provide a name, contact number and expected date of arrival.
To pick up packages, residents must bring an issued ID card and a receipt 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. and noon Saturday.
Firefighters ask that packages weigh less than 50 pounds and not require a signature.
