WHAT: Trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Ed Anthony, Kay Anderson and Ryan Yoho


• Heard from Anthony the township will receive $1.3 million from the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments for sewer and septic improvements in the Meadowbrook area. The project will be done in three phases;

• Heard from Yoho an excavator was at the former Copperweld site to cap old pits on the property;

• Received a donation of a thermal imaging camera from Victory Christian Center in Warren for use in locating people in search and rescues and fires;

• Announced the leaf truck will be available through the month for residents to place their leaves;

• Accepted the resignation of Michael Arnold from the zoning commission board;

• Heard from resident Butch Elser of Rio Vista Avenue concerned with numerous junk vehicles, many with expired plates, not being removed or stored. He said there also have been problems with boats;

• Reported Victory Christian Center members helped clean Tod Avenue, collecting 600 pounds of trash along the road.
