3 Warren men face drug trial

YOUNGSTOWN — Three men will face a federal jury in Youngstown on various drug charges dealing with a large trafficking organization in the Mahoning Valley.

Vincent Richardson, 29; Sean King, 34; and William Crenshaw, 36, all of Warren, were in U.S. Northern Ohio District Court last week for a status conference on their cases. U.S. Judge Christopher Boyko reset the date of the jury trial to Feb. 14, 2022, after all three waived their right to a speedy trial.

From March 2019 to February 2020, documents state Richardson operated a drug trafficking organization in the Youngstown-Warren areas with the others. The indictment states that Richardson supplied the narcotics, and other members of the drug trafficking organization conspired together to facilitate their drug distribution in the areas. The drug trafficking organization allegedly distributed detectable amounts of fentanyl, fentanyl compounds, crack cocaine, heroin and other drugs in the area during this time.

All three were indicted in September 2020 on multiple charges.

l Richardson, also known as “Stacks,” is charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, fentanyl, other fentanyl compounds and heroin, use of a communication facility in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, 13 charges dealing with the distribution of these drugs, and seven charges dealing with possession of these drugs.

l King, also known as “B Walk,” is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine base, fentanyl, other fentanyl compounds and heroin as well as 12 charges dealing with the distribution of these drugs.

l Crenshaw, also known as “Jay,” is charged with conspiracy, two counts of distribution of crack, two counts of possession of crack, heroin and fentanyl and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

All are in federal custody, documents state.

A final pretrial hearing for all three men has been set for Feb. 7, 2022, before Boyko.
