Tickets on sale through today for Sutliff dinner

WARREN — The Sutliff Museum will host a 50th anniversary celebration dinner Nov. 6 at the Trumbull Country Club. Over the past 50 years, the Sutliff Museum has grown to include public lectures, bus trips and digital programming with the overall goal of educating the public about the Sutliff family and their work with the Underground Railroad and their influence in Trumbull County.

The aim of the dinner is to raise funds for the museum’s endowment fund, which is the main funding for its operation.

The event will include silent auction items, raffles and a performance from Robin Pease as Sarah Lucy Bagby, the last fugitive slave to be surrendered to the South. Music will be provided by students from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University.

Tickets are $40 per person and are available at https://sutliffmuseum.org through today.
