Pumps, copper pipes reported stolen

BRISTOLVILLE — Copper piping and water pumps, worth more than $2,000, were removed from a township home, according to a report Wednesday by the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the home in the 1500 block of state Route 88, where a homeowner said he has been working on the structure before moving into it. After a walk-through, deputies found pools of water in the kitchen and basement, where water pumps, including a sump pump and copper piping, were stolen. The burglars also took a chop saw and a ladder, the report states.

Deputies believe entry was made through a basement window sometime after 7 p.m. Oct. 18.
