Parkman Road man alleges assault

WARREN — Telling police he was punched in the face Tuesday by his new aroommate, a Parkman Road NW man was taken to St. Joseph Warren Hospital for treatment.

According to the police report, the 34-year-old victim told officers the roommate moved into the home a few days ago. The victim, who told officers he was disabled, had come home from work about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was sitting in a recliner with a plate of food when the report states the roommate threatened him. After getting punched, the victim said he had a broken nose. Officers noticed a small mark there, the report states.

The man also blamed the roommate for shattering his cellphone screen, the report states.

The roommate, when questioned by police, told a different story. He said the disabled man had just moved into the home. The roommate told police the man became angry, and he punched him.

No charges were filed.
