Not guilty entered in Sept. 6 shooting

WARREN — A McMyler Street NW man pleaded not guilty Monday to a charge of felonious assault in connection to the shooting of a 37-year-old man earlier this month, according to police and court records.

Da’Reuan Pennock, 19, is being held in the Trumbull County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Police were called Sept. 9 to 707 Adelaide Ave. SE on a report a man was shot. Ryan Powell of Transylvania Avenue SE, was injured and sitting on the porch, according to police, who looked for, but could not find the shooter.

Pennock, who was arrested in connection Friday, is due back in court Sept. 27.
