Man charged with offenses in Hubbard

HUBBARD — A Warren man faces multiple charges in Girard Municipal Court after being linked to offenses in Hubbard on Monday and Tuesday.

Joshua Allen, 20, of Martin Street SW, Warren, was arrested about 10 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East Market Street in Warren by federal marshals and Warren police officers after he failed to appear for a court date Wednesday in Girard. He was charged with burglary, assault and criminal damaging or endangering.

Allen is scheduled to appear Tuesday before Judge Jeffrey Adler for arraignment, court records show.

According to Hubbard police reports, Allen is accused of spray painting a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Bentley Street sometime after midnight Monday. Another report states he is accused of choking a 17-year-old girl at the same address in Hubbard after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
