ODOT to host virtual meeting about U.S. 62
BROOKFIELD — The Ohio Department of Transportation District 4 will host a virtual meeting 5 p.m. June 22 about U.S. Route 62 at the Bedford Road intersection and at the Broadway Avenue intersection.
ODOT will present information and solicit public comment on alternatives for the proposed project to improve safety.
Both intersections are located southwest of the state Route 82 interchange, in Brookfield.
Officials said the project tentatively is scheduled for construction in spring 2023. The proposed project potentially will change how motorists access Route 62 at these locations. These changes will improve safety and reduce crashes, the state said.
The virtual public meeting includes a brief project overview presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. Attendees can join online at https://publicinput.com/ODOT110589 or at 855-925-2801, meeting code 8777. Following the meeting, the recorded presentation and all materials regarding the project will be available online at transportation.ohio.gov.
Comments regarding the project may be submitted on the website through by July 23.
