2 sex offenders sentenced

WARREN — Two convicted sex offenders were sentenced Monday after they were convicted of failing to register their addresses with the sheriff’s office.

Glenn Rogers, 51, of Warren, was given a 15-month prison sentence by Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Peter J. Kontos for not regularly registering his address. As a Tier 2 sex offender, Rogers has to register twice each year for 25 years, according to state law. He previously served a one-year prison term after violating probation on a 2018 conviction of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Prosecutors said Rogers failed to report his status as of October 2020.

In another case, Dallas Pal, 25, of Warren, was given a 180-day jail term for a conviction of failure to verify his residence as a sex offender. Pal, who was convicted of sexually-related charges outside of Trumbull County, failed to report as of April 12.
