Falls resident faces trespassing charges

NEWTON FALLS — A Newton Falls man, who told police he was at a home to “remove demons,” is facing criminal trespassing charges and is scheduled to appear in Newton Falls Municipal Court on Monday.

Daniel Pigg, 38, was booked into the Trumbull County jail for criminal trespass.

Reports indicate police were called early Friday to a house on Richmond Avenue after a resident leaving for work reported a man standing on his property outside. The man claimed to be there to “remove demons” from the house and wanted to get inside the house.

The man left the house — but returned a second time before leaving again and being located by police.

Reports indicate when police located Pigg, he was argumentive and verbally aggressive when questioned about refusing to leave the Richmond Avenue property. He was then arrested.
