Citywide spring cleanup set for Saturday

WARREN — A citywide spring cleanup event will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Warren.

Volunteers can select a neighborhood and meeting spot to work with others and use provided supplies, and receive a free reusable shopping bag and T-shirt.

The event is being sponsored by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District.

Meeting locations are:

— Trumbull Homes / Homewood SE, SmartMart, 2142 Youngstown Road SE;

— Kenmore Neighborhood, 805 Kenmore SE;

— Perkins Park, the parking lot behind the Kinsman house;

— Packard Park, Packard Park Tea Garden;

— Central city, Washington Street NE and Mercer;

— Jefferson PK-8 school area, at the school on Tod Avenue SW;

— Homewood SE / Laird SE, Trumbull Regional Medical Center on South Street;

— Lincoln PK-8 school area, at the school on Atlantic Avenue NE;

— Grace AME, 1725 Drexel NW;

— Quinby Park, at the park on Austin Avenue SW;

— Palmyra Heights, 2011 Ferndale SW;

— Willard PK-8 school, at the school on Willard Avenue SE;

— 3rd Christian Church, 241 First St. SW;

— Highland Terrace, 377 Lane Drive SW;

— Buckeye Street and West Market Street, parking lot on Buckeye Street;

— Lover’s Lane, intersection of Parkman Road and Lover’s Lane.
