Warren man gets 12 months in prison
WARREN — A Warren man was sentenced Monday to 12 months in prison on two felony convictions.
Marquise D. Jordan, 27, of Oak Knoll SE, Warren, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and tampering with evidence and was sentenced immediately by Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Peter J. Kontos.
Jordan was charged after a May 7, 2019, traffic stop by Warren police, prosecutors said. In the plea deal that headed off a scheduled April 12 trial, Jordan had charges of failure to comply and possession of crack cocaine dropped.
He agreed to forfeit $1,119 in cash that was found in his vehicle during the arrest.
