Handgun taken in burglary of city home
WARREN — A home in the 1300 block of Belvedere Avenue SE was burglarized about 9:15 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
A woman returned home from work about 8:30 p.m. and told police she saw a rear window open. The window, with Styrofoam covering it, appeared to have been broken into from the outside.
The only thing missing was a Beretta M9 9mm handgun, which was kept under a mattress, the report states.
