WARREN — A Leavittsburg man received an 11-month jail sentence after being convicted of a felony charge connected with pushing his son.

Stefan Windhorst, 38, of Mahoning Street, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of domestic violence. Prosecutors say Windhorst faces another open domestic violence case in Trumbull County with the alleged victim being the child’s mother.

Windhorst has previous domestic-related convictions in Warren Municipal and Eastern District courts in Trumbull County and another in Portage County, prosecutors said.

Defense attorney Susan J. Moran of Cleveland said in the common pleas case involing his son, her client was involved in a disciplinary measure “that got out of control.”
