Girard council cancels December meetings
GIRARD — City council voted 7-0 at a Monday meeting to cancel the two scheduled meetings in December.
Council President Reynold Paolone said council will not meet again, even virtually, until Jan. 11, 2021, unless there is an emergency that warrants a meeting.
“It’s our way of saying we’re trying to do our part since the numbers are through the roof,” Paolone said of the COVID-19 pandemic.
