Road rage ends in gun threat

WARREN — An 18-year-old woman told police she was threatened by a motorcyclist Tuesday morning after her car pulled out of the parking lot of the McDonald’s on North Road SE.

The woman told police about 9:15 a.m. she heard a horn and stopped her car. At this time, an unidentified motorcyclist called the woman a name and swerved past her car, heading southbound on North Road. As the two drove on North Road, the motorcycle driver continued his verbal assault — turning around and yelling, the police report.

As the two vehicles approached the Youngstown Road SE intersection, the woman told police the motorcyclist pulled a small black handgun from his hip and pointed it at her. The woman pulled into a nearby store lot and called police.
