Car parts taken from B&M lot

WARREN — A Warren business told police someone took catalytic converters from two vehicles in his lot.

The owner of B&M Automotive, 2701 W. Market St., said the theft and damage took place sometime after 10 p.m. July 31, a police report states. The owner also told officers a chain-link fence at the southwest corner of the lot had been cut.

After viewing security footage from a convenience store across the street, the owner said he observed two people on his lot with flashlights about 12:20 a.m. Aug. 1. The owner also told officers he thinks the suspects gave his guard dog food to keep it occupied.
