Bazetta fire gets $39,047 grant to replace hydraulic equipment

BAZETTA — The Bazetta Fire Department announced Monday it received $39,047 to replace its hydraulic extrication equipment through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant.

The federal money is awarded through the Department of Homeland Security and requires a 5 percent local match of just less than $2,000, for a total budget of $41,000.
