WHAT: Township trustee meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Mark Webb, Ramon French and Doug Seemann


– Approved compensating Samantha Hickey $25 per meeting to set up Facebook live for broadcasting trustee meetings online;

– Thanked first responders for an excellent job transporting people during the pandemic;

– Accepted the resignation of zoning commission member Christian Ash effective immediately;

– Approved switching from Century Link to Spectrum for the township’s internet provider;

– Canceled all banquet hall rentals through October unless they can use only the kitchen and not the hall, keeping the 10-person mandate;

– Approved the purchase of supplies in the amount of $1,300 to replace old iron pipe waterlines with plastic pipe in Sager Cemetery;

– Approved laying 40 tons of gravel on township roads to keep bleeding from the heat to a minimum;

– Reported officials should know within four to six weeks if the small government grant will be awarded for the Housel Craft Road resurfacing project;

– Announced the next meeting will be 6 p.m. Aug. 4 via Facebook Live.
