Woman asks to go to jail
WARREN — An intoxicated woman repeatedly asked police to take her to jail and attempted to bite an emergency medical worker when police decided to send her to the hospital instead, police said.
Lisett Camacho, 50, 3414 Walton Ave., Cleveland, was throwing beer cans and screaming in the parking lot of Franklin Pharmacy, 1732 Youngstown Warren Road, around 11:25 p.m. Thursday. Camacho was being “belligerent,” and refused to get into a car to go to a hotel or to the hospital, according to a police report. Instead, Camacho asked police to “just go to jail,” the report states.
While officers were talking with Camacho, she acted as if she knew passersby, and appeared to attempt to hit someone who stopped to help. When officers called emergency medical personnel to take Camacho to the hospital, she tried to bite the person fastening the safety belt, the report states.
Camacho was cited on charges of disorderly conduct and having an open container, according to court records. She did not show up for her arraignment Friday morning, so a warrant has been issued, court records show.
