NILES — Local Democrats are hosting a food drive 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Trumbull County Democratic Party headquarters in the Pinetree Plaza at 36 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles.

The event will be conducted via drive-up and donation drop-off following social-distancing guidelines. Community members may drop off nonperishable food items and / or cash / check donations. All donations will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

Co-hosts of the event are the Trumbull County Democratic Party, Trumbull County Young Democrats, Mahoning / Trumbull Democratic Women’s Caucus, Mahoning County Young Democrats, Trumbull County Federated Democratic Women’s Club, YSU College Democrats and candidate participants.
