Warren council to meet online

Staff report

WARREN — City council will have a special call meeting at 4 p.m. Monday via the city of Warren’s YouTube channel.

Council President Jim Graham said the meeting is being done in this way to comply with Gov. Mike DeWine’s order that there should be no gathering with more than 10 persons in any one place. City council is made up of seven ward council members, three at-Large members and the council president.

The public can watch the meeting live on YouTube.

Graham said the meeting will be a conference call that will involve all of the council members, city department heads and administration officials.

“The meeting will begin once everyone is on the call,” Graham said.

Graham will will be in City Council chambers, with the council clerk, and a member of the city’s Information Technology department. Others will be on the conference call.

“The only person viewers will see will be me,” Graham said. “This was put together this weekend, and it works perfectly.”

An audio copy of the meeting will be recorded by city council’s clerk and kept on file in her office, and a copy will be kept by the city.

The meeting agenda will be released Thursday, according to Graham.
