City man arrested after reporting vandalism
WARREN — A man who reported that four tires on his car were slashed by a person known to him was arrested after police discovered he had a warrant on him from Trumbull County Child Support Enforcement Agency.
Robin A. Woomer, 38, 526 Hazelwood Ave. SE., reported to police that he went to his car shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday and found all four tires of his vehicle slashed.
Police found medium-sized footprints in the snow around the car. Woomer told officers who he suspected slashed the tires, the report states.
As officers were writing the report, Trumbull County 911 identified Woomer with having a warrant, so he was arrested and taken to Trumbull County Jail. He later was released.
