Warm weather brings high winds, trees down

WARREN — With a record high temperature of 70 degrees Saturday, the warm weather brought strong winds early Sunday that downed trees and power lines in the area.

Most of the reports came in after 3 a.m., according to a Trumbull County 911 dispatcher.

There were reports of power outages in Trumbull and Mahoning counties. Ohio Edison reported most customers’ power was restored by mid-day Sunday

The National Weather Service has today being cloudy with high in upper 40s.
