Pair sentenced for drug trafficking

WARREN — Two men were each sentenced to six-month prison terms Tuesday for their part in lower-level drug deals.

Allen D. Walsh, 25, 1167 Palmyra Road SW, Apt. 8, Warren, pleaded guilty to three drug-trafficking charges and opted for immediate sentencing, waiving any chance at probation from Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Andrew D. Logan.

Prosecutors said Walsh was accused of selling small amounts of cocaine and heroin to confidential informants on three separate occasions May 30 and 31, 2018, and June 6, 2018, in different locations in Trumbull County.

Toronto J. Spencer, 41, 334 Scot Ave., Niles, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine and received a six-month sentence from Logan.

Prosecutors said Spencer was accused of selling $100 worth of cocaine to two confidential informants May 2, 2019, in McKinley Heights, and May 23, 2019, on the northwest side of Warren.

Spencer told the judge he “regrets the things that happened at this time in his life.”
