Dirt bikes stolen; one man arrested

WARREN — Two stolen dirt bikes were recovered Monday morning and returned to the impound lot of Mays Towing. One man was arrested, according to a city police report.

The vehicles were found near a fence behind McDonald’s on South Street, the report said. A man at the restaurant called police after two males in hoodies had approached him about loading two dirt bikes onto his trailer, the report states.

Returned to the impound lot were yellow Suzuki and Moped models worth about $1,100. Arrested was Michael R. Cooper, 32, of 451 Belmont St. NE, who was charged with two counts breaking and entering, falsification, obstructing official business and criminal damaging.
