Rash of thefts from vehicles investigated

BROOKFIELD — The Brookfield Police Department is looking for help solving a series of thefts from vehicles.

Police said they received several reports over the weekend in the lower Masury area. This includes Elm Street, First Street and Second Street. To help prevent these types of incidents, they recommend residents keep vehicles locked, remove or hide items of value so they are not visible and park in well-lit areas.

If anyone sees anyone suspicious in their neighborhood, they should call the police department at 330-448-6960.
