Airport receives $1.2 million grant

VIENNA — The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded $1.2 million for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport for improvements at the facility.

The money will be used to rehabilitate runway lighting and rebuild the apron pavement and taxiway. The Western Reserve Port Authority, which operates the airport, accepted the airport improvement grant Wednesday.
