Woman gets two years in officer-dragging case
WARREN — A woman accused of dragging a rookie police officer as she was driving away from a traffic stop was sentenced Tuesday to two years behind bars by Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Andrew D. Logan.
Natajha Graham, 24, Atlantic Street NW, was charged with felonious assault, tampering with evidence and failure to stop after an accident.
Graham has been in the Trumbull County Jail since Dec. 18 — two days after the incident.
Warren police Officer Andrea Mixon was at a traffic stop when Graham got into an argument with another person, according to police. Mixon went over to talk to Graham and was entangled with her vehicle as she drove away. Mixon was dragged, but eventually dislodged herself from the vehicle, a police report states.
Graham is getting credit for time served and is scheduled to be released in December 2020, according to jail records.
