Tim Ryan will debate first night in Detroit
WARREN — Valley Congressman Timothy J. Ryan, D-Howland, will debate the first night of the next Democratic presidential debate in Detroit.
Ryan will participate in the debate July 30 alongside author Marianne Williamson, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas, former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, former U.S. Rep. John Delaney of Maryland and Montana Gov. Steve Bullock. Ryan will be on stage as the second candidate from the left, according to a live drawing held on CNN Thursday night. CNN is airing the debate.
The second night, July 31, will see these candidates take the stage, in podium order: U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, former U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, former Vice President Joe Biden, U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California, businessman Andrew Yang, U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
