State budget includes local funds
WARREN — The state budget signed into law Thursday includes money for local projects, according to a news release from the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber.
The budget includes $1.5 million for low-head dam removal and $500,000 toward a riverside trail to assist in revitalizing the Mahoning River, according to the release.
America Makes in Youngstown is getting $1 million to match federal and / or private sector investment in additive manufacturing.
And, $600,000 was set aside to help protect and grow military missions in the area.
