Bazetta gets pet microchip scanner

BAZETTA — The Bazetta Township Police Department has a new microchip scanner, which was donated by the Cortland Starbucks and Busters Brigade to help find owners of stray and lost animals.

The department is collecting donations of pet supplies — such as food, leashes and treats — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week at the police department, 2671 McCleary Jacoby Road, which will be donated to Busters Brigade.
