Weathersfield BOE OKs contract with workers
WEATHERSFIELD — The Weathersfield Board of Education on Wednesday approved ratifying a new three-year agreement with the local Ohio Association of Public School Employees.
Superintendent Damon Dohar said the agreement is effective July 2019 to June 2022 and includes a 2 percent pay increase the first year, 1 percent the second and 2 percent the third year.
Dohar said the contract will cost the district $30,000 over three years. He said the 30 employees, which includes bus drivers, secretaries, custodians, and cooks, will contribute 15 percent as their co-pay to health care the first year, 17.5 percent the second year and 20 percent the third year.
