Motorcyclist reported shot in Warren
WARREN — A man suffered multiple gunshot wounds early Saturday morning on North Park Avenue, police said.
A resident in the 2200 block of North Park Avenue near Federal Street called the Trumbull County 911 Center at 2:31 a.m. Saturday to report that he’d been awakened by the sound of four gunshots.
Responding officers found the shooting victim lying in the grass alongside the road. The motorcycle he had been driving was in the middle of the road, police said.
The victim was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center, where he was undergoing treatment for his wounds. As of Saturday evening, police had not released any information about the man’s condition or his identity.
Recordings provided by the 911 Center included the name of a suspect in the shooting, but no arrests had been reported.
This is the second shooting in three days reported in the city. Michael Lemar Jones, 37, of Akron, died after being shot multiple times late Thursday on Solar Street NW. He was found in a driveway. No arrests had yet been made in that shooting.
