WHAT: Board of Education meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: William Catlin, Niki Reid, Cheryl Kistler and Jackie Woodward

• Recognized seniors Mary Harvey, Blaze Miller and Marty Nelder for winning first place in the Titan Business Challenge at Youngstown State University;
• Recognized Verna Del Duca, art teacher, and the art students who participated in the Trumbull County Educational Service Center’s high school art show. The students included Peyton Ferguson, Kiera Griffin, Amy King and Benjamin Sinn. Sinn received a juror’s award for his entry;
• Recognized Emily Foster, Kalil Ripple and Sophia Wilson for advancing to the state History Day competition.
• Approved the administration of the third-grade ELA assessment to be paper-and-pencil based while the third-grade math test will be administered online and also authorized the superintendent to submit it for approval with the Ohio Department of Education.
